At the first consultation, we’ll meet for 30 minutes. In that time, we’ll review your options and pros and cons of each. We’ll explain bankruptcy, and how it applies to your situation. Then, you’ll get advice about which path we suggest, along with a quoted fee for our services, which includes an attorney being with you at court. No pressure, just bankruptcy information and options for you to consider on your own timeline.
Yes, for about 15 years, the office on Sierra Highway and Soledad Canyon was our Canyon Country location, and we helped thousands of our neighbors from Santa Clarita (including Newhall, Saugus CA, Valencia, and Stevenson Ranch). However, as the economy improved from 2013-2019, fewer people were in financial distress needing help, which is a good thing. That made it harder to justify having two offices, though. So with Santa Clarita rents being what they are, we kept the one in Palmdale.
Yes, our consultation will be in Santa Clarita. For your convenience, we’ll meet in Canyon Country in a relaxed environment, just two neighbors having a chat and reviewing solutions. Of course, you’re always welcome to visit our office.
And here’s the important part: in 2020, there’s really no need for you to get in the car to drop things off. Everything can be done on the internet. We try to be paperless. Documents are sent and received as PDF files. Your questions are usually answered the same day by the attorney in email. Of course, you’re always welcome to visit the office if you’re in the neighborhood (generally a good idea for the signing appointment).
I look forward to reviewing your options over a cup of coffee. Send me a message now. Thanks!
